The Kokoda track is a challenging trek and for this reason it is essential to be physically well prepared. We have a dedicated focus on preparing you for the rigours of the track. There is no doubt that being in top physical condition will allow you to enjoy the trek more. We have partnered with personal trainers in both Melbourne and Geelong who are able to provide specialised outdoor Kokoda training that will guarantee to have you in peak physical condition ready to tackle the track.
If you are unable to attend a specialised training course or wish to undertake your own training program we will provide you with a guideline as to how much training you should be doing and what level you should be at before you undertake the trek. We will monitor your progress in the weeks leading up to the trek and provide you with all the support you need to prepare for the challenge.
